Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ayah mengenai ASI eksklusif sebagai upaya memperkuat kepedulian dan dukungan ayah terhadap keberhasilan menyusui. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Perumahan The Amalia Platinum, Boyolali, dengan melibatkan 30 ayah yang memiliki pasangan hamil, menyusui, atau merencanakan kehamilan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, simulasi peran ayah, pembagian media edukasi, serta evaluasi pengetahuan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif digunakan untuk mendorong pemahaman dan keterlibatan aktif peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan dengan rata-rata kenaikan skor sebesar 40%, serta terbentuknya komitmen ayah untuk mendukung ibu menyusui melalui tindakan sehari-hari. Selain itu, terbentuk kelompok “Ayah Peduli ASI” sebagai wadah keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi terstruktur berbasis peran ayah efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian ayah terhadap ASI eksklusif, serta berpotensi berkontribusi pada peningkatan praktik menyusui di tingkat keluarga.
