Sosialisasi Agroforestri di Lahan Gambut untuk Ketahanan Pangan dan Mitigasi Perubahan Iklim Berbasis Pemberdayaan Masyarakat

Agroforestri merupakan salah satu pendekatan pengelolaan lahan yang mampu mendukung ketahanan pangan sekaligus berkontribusi dalam mitigasi perubahan iklim melalui integrasi tanaman kehutanan dan pertanian. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep dan implementasi agroforestri dalam pengelolaan lahan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 April 2026 di Aula Hotel Dika Raya, Kota Pangkalan Kerinci, Kabupaten Pelalawan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 18 orang yang berasal dari LSM Daemeter, LPHD, SPLP, serta mahasiswa Jurusan Kehutanan Universitas Riau. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi, sharing session, dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep agroforestri, manfaatnya dalam meningkatkan produktivitas lahan, serta perannya dalam penyerapan karbon dan konservasi lingkungan. Selain itu, interaksi aktif antar peserta melalui diskusi dan berbagi pengalaman turut memperkuat pemahaman kontekstual dan mendorong potensi adopsi praktik agroforestri di tingkat masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat serta mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya lahan yang berkelanjutan.
