Peningkatan Pengetahuan Masyarakat tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat serta Pencegahan Penyakit Tidak Menular

Penyakit tidak menular (PTM) seperti hipertensi dan diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas secara global, yang erat kaitannya dengan gaya hidup tidak sehat. Hasil survei pada masyarakat RT 06 Kelurahan Melayu menunjukkan masih rendahnya penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS), ditandai dengan pola makan tinggi gula dan rendahnya aktivitas fisik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai PHBS dan pencegahan PTM melalui edukasi kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan partisipatif, diskusi interaktif, serta demonstrasi senam hipertensi dan edukasi “Isi Piringku”. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test terhadap 28 responden. Hasil menunjukkan rerata nilai pre-test sebesar 42,50 meningkat menjadi 74,64 pada post-test. Uji statistik menggunakan Paired T-Test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi kesehatan yang diberikan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pencegahan PTM. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong perubahan perilaku menuju gaya hidup sehat sebagai upaya preventif terhadap hipertensi dan diabetes melitus tipe 2.
