Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan periode growth spurt dimana terjadi perkembangan fisik yang sangat cepat. Indonesia mempunyai tiga beban masalah gizi pada remaja yaitu stunting, wasting, obesitas dan kekurangan zat gizi mikro seperti anemia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah  meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang pada remaja dan membentuk duta Gizi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara luring pada tanggal 22 Agustus 2024, materi yang disampaikan adalah tentang edukasi gizi seimbang kepada peer educator yang terdiri dari 15 orang siswa kader kesehatan remaja di SMP 36 Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Hasil analisis didapatkan rata-rata pre-test 66.00 dengan standar deviasi 11.823 dan rata-rata post-test sebesar 90.67 dengan standar deviasi 12.228 terlihat mean perbedaan antara nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test sebesar 24.67. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai P Value 0,001. Dengan demikian ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre dan post test pada α 0,05. Kesimpulan: edukasi gizi seimbang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi seimbang siswa sebagai peer educator di SMP Muhammadiyah 36 Jakarta. Diperlukan pelaksanaan edukasi gizi seimbang secara berkelanjutan dan meluas, serta pelibatan aktif peer educator sebagai agen perubahan dalam promosi kesehatan di lingkungan sekolah.
