Prosesi Tujuh Bulanan Sebagai Media Kontektual Untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan keterampilan penting abad ke-21 yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, pembelajaran yang bersifat prosedural dan terlepas dari konteks kehidupan sering kali membuat anak-anak kesulitan membangun pemahaman yang mendalam. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan prosesi tujuh bulanan sebagai media kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya lokal untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Dusun Joho, Banguntapan, Bantul, dengan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif yang melibatkan anak-anak, tokoh adat, dan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa prosesi tujuh bulanan mengandung unsur matematis seperti geometri, pengukuran, pola bilangan, dan representasi data yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar kontekstual. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, keterlibatan aktif, serta peningkatan pemahaman terhadap konsep matematika berbasis budaya. Selain memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi dalam pelestarian tradisi lokal melalui integrasi budaya ke dalam pendidikan. Dengan demikian, prosesi tujuh bulanan terbukti efektif sebagai sarana pembelajaran kontekstual yang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis anak-anaksekaligus melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya.
