Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan media interaktif Lumio kepada guru di SMK Garuda Bangsa sebagai Upaya dalam menyiapkan gru yang siap dengan tantangan Pendidikan terkini. Observasi pertama di SMK Garuda Bangsa, menunjukkan kurangnya ketertarikan siswa dengan pembelajaran secara ekspositori. Kurangnya minat siswa tersebut terlihat dari aktivitas siswa di kelas seperti siswa asik mengobrol dengan teman saat pembelajaran, siswa cenderung pasif saat pembelajaran dan hasil belajar yang belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, Sekolah perlu memfasilitasi guru dengan kegiatan seminar yang dapat menambah skill guru dalam menggunakan media interaktif, salah satunya Lumio. Media interaktif lumio merupakan media pembelajaran digital inovatif dan kolaboratif yang didesain untuk memfasilitasi interaksi dan kolaborasi antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang tak terbatas oleh waktu dan tempat. Beberapa tools Lumio menyediakan games yang dapat menyajikan materi pelajaran dengan lebih menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Berdasarkan survey, guru-guru belum mengetahui tentang media interaktif Lumio. Metode kegiatan PKM menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu observasi lapangan, sosialisasi dan evaluasi. Hasil kuesioner pascakegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan guru mengenai penggunaan Lumio. Dengan demikian, sosialisasi ini efektif menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung kesiapan guru mengintegrasikan media interaktif Lumio ke dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas.
